St Laurence's strives to maintain an inclusive College community which extends from students and staff to parents, Old Boys, numerous partner organisations and all those who come in contact with the school. It is a community that embraces a sense of belonging, family involvement and lifelong friendships, in an environment where spirituality and Gospel values are cherished.

The College Board works with Edmund Rice Education Australia and the Principal to determine policy, strategic planning, finances and future direction. The Principal works with the College Leadership Team and staff to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the College as an authentic Edmund Rice School.

The Parents & Friends Association meets regularly to give parents the opportunity to contribute to building community within the College and supports the Principal and staff in developing the best outcomes for the students.

Many generations of Old Boys have a strong sense of belonging to the College. The Old Boys Association and Old Boys Foundation give them the means to continue their support of the College and maintain their connection with each other.

The College has a Development Office which develops community partnerships and raises funds to promote the development of the College.
