Music

St Laurence’s College offers an exciting and inclusive music program covering classroom, instrumental and vocal music. All boys at the College are encouraged to be involved.

The College has a diverse ensemble program catering for all levels of ability with a broad range of repertoire styles. The program runs in conjunction with an extensive internationally recognised classroom music program that is compulsory for Years 5 to 7 and elective from Years 8 to 12.

Music students participate in numerous performances, national and international tours, camps and competitions as well as playing a vital role in the performing and liturgical life of the College.

St Laurence’s College Old Boys have gone on to perform, record and compose professionally with various national and international artists and ensembles across many styles of music.

The College also runs seasonal Alumni and community ensembles.
