Each year a large number of students commence their schooling at St Laurence's, particularly in Years 5 & 8. In order for them to better integrate into the school, the Seniors act as “Big Brothers” to the new boys. Individual Year 12 students are matched up with individual new boys and travel with them to and from school each day.
The Seniors also spend time with the boys during the day. The program goes a long way towards making new students feel a part of the College and provides a sense of security to parents.
