St Laurence’s College established an Urban Farm in 2016, developed as an educational resource for students.

The Farm houses a chicken coop, fish, a worm farm, compost tumblers, organic soil garden beds and aquaponic beds, Australian native stingless bees (producing honey), 5 x 5000L rainwater tanks with pumps in it’s 500sq/m location onsite at the College.

The Urban Farm is a Safe Food Queensland Accredited Egg Producer thanks to a well established chicken coop with many laying hens. It’s abundant with life and also produces an array delicious vegetables.
