Walkathon 2021

St Laurence's College will walk for charity in a new format in 2021, continuing the yearly 'Walkathon' tradition which exceeds 45 years.

This year, the entire Lauries community will participate in the Walkathon fundraising event, which aims to get families walking together in their local area during September and October.

In support of the Lauries House charities and College charities, Walkathon presents a great way for the community to get active and raise funds for charity in a COVID-19 safe way.

Our traditional Walkathon day, along with our Solidarity Mass, is one of the highlights of the Lauries calendar and with the event cancelled again in 2021, we want to bring a little of Walkathon to our families while raising funds for House charities and College charities.

"Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of others and spend quality time with our families," College Principal, Mr Chris Leadbetter said.

Students are urged to register their walk, fundraise for their House and College charities (where possible) and submit a photo or video of their walk for the chance to win a suite of fabulous prizes including electronics, sporting equipment, vouchers and much more.

Donations can be made online HERE, via the bookmarks given to students or via the Donations link on the College App.
