St Laurence’s College welcomes international students in years 7 to 12 from across the world whether it be for one month or for 5 years.  Students may live with a blood relative as approved by the Australian Government or in homestay with a loving local family.

Our state-of-the-art facilities, extensive curriculum and welcoming environment enables every student to achieve their potential.

International students will select their subjects and study alongside their new Australian friends.  All students will wear the College uniform and be encouraged to participate in the co-curricular sport, music, arts and faith-in-action programs.

To ensure that every student is known and feels valued, the College offers a dedicated International Student Coordinator who is on-call 24x7 to offer assistance to your son at school and after hours as well as an International Students Director who will continually monitor and support each student’s academic outcomes.

The College will consider enrolment applications from students wishing to apply for a Student Visa, subject to compliance with minimum requirements and conditions set by the School, and with legislative requirements of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia, including any requirements to undertake extra tuition to learn English to meet the English language proficiency standard needed to enter mainstream classes.
