Academic Requirements

Applicants must complete the Short Term Study Application Form and email to Internationals@slc.qld.edu.au

Applicants are required to have a level of English proficiency suitable for their year of study.  Applicants should provide evidence of any English language courses attended or study completed at school.  If unable to provide, St Laurence’s College may undertake their own independent testing prior to making an offer of enrolment.

Applicants must provide two years evidence of school report cards demonstrating a pass or better for the majority of subjects, a good record of attendance and no behavioural concerns.

4. Students should note that if their language proficiency is below that outlined above, they may be required to undertake an intensive English language course before beginning mainstream studies.

5. If undertaking an intensive English language course before beginning mainstream studies, English language proficiency will be reassessed at the conclusion of the language course to ensure the student’s level of proficiency is sufficient to allow them to commence their mainstream course.

Interview 
In addition to the above, Entry is also subject to a successful interview.
