St Laurence's College Announces Partnership with Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
St Laurence's College is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Rugby League Club. This mutually beneficial collaboration is set to provide a myriad of opportunities to St Laurence’s College, its students and the wider community.
As part of this partnership, the Bulldogs will conduct annual coach development workshops, providing our coaching staff with invaluable insights and training from one of the premier Rugby League clubs in the country. Additionally, our students will have the chance to participate in player camps focused on position-specific skill development and age-related activities, ensuring tailored and effective training.
The partnership also opens doors for our students to engage in various club camps and academy programs, offering a pathway to further their Rugby League aspirations.
Furthermore, the Bulldogs will utilise our College facilities, fostering a closer connection between the club and our community.
"We are incredibly excited about this partnership with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs," said College Principal Mr Ben Lowrie.
"This partnership with the Bulldogs provides our community with incredible opportunities and we look forward to the many benefits this collaboration will continue to offer.”
Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs General Manager of Pathways Mr Adam Hartigan affirmed the partnership.
"This partnership with St Laurence's College is a great opportunity for our contracted players based in South East Queensland.
"Having a high-quality training base means those pathways players can continue developing in familiar surroundings while also experiencing the professional standards the Bulldogs expect, making any eventual move to Sydney much smoother when that time comes.
"The partnership gives our Queensland-based players the foundation they need to one day succeed at the highest levels." Hartigan said.
