Sacramental Program
We are pleased to announce that in partnership with Dutton Park-West End Parish and Fr William Aupito Iuliano, along with Liturgy Brisbane, we will again be offering a Sacramental Program at our College starting next week. A person seeking to join the Catholic Church is usually initiated through the three Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. The College-based sacramental program offers our staff and students the option to prepare for these sacraments in line with the Archdiocesan Sacramental Policy, and to celebrate the reception of these sacraments in the College Chapel.
If your child is considering or would like to be involved in receiving any of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation, or Communion please get in touch with the Faith in Action Office at fiaatlauries@slc.qld.edu.au. The program will be run during Lauries Journey Lessons, with some Friday Mass commitments:

National Sorry Day
National Sorry Day, held on 26 May each year, is a day of remembrance and reflection in Australia. It acknowledges the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, particularly the Stolen Generations - children who were taken from their families under government policies. National Sorry Day is important because it encourages all Australians to recognise past wrongs, honour the resilience of First Nations peoples, and commit to ongoing healing and reconciliation. It’s a time to listen, learn, and take meaningful steps toward a more just and respectful future for everyone.
