Important Traffic and Transport Updates
Luminous Festival 2025
South Bank's Luminous Festival is taking place on Friday 1 August from 5.00pm - 9.00pm.
Little Stanley Street will be fully closed to traffic during this time, and the South Bank Car Park will only be accessible via Glenelg Street.
Brisbane's New Bus Network
Changes to Brisbane City Council public transport routes changes came into effect on Monday 30 June.
BCC have provided an overview of several lines and the best transfer location for students. This document can be viewed HERE in addition to a generic advertisement of all the lines with changes.
To ensure a smooth transition, we encourage families to:
- Review the updated routes and schedules available now on the Translink website or app, noting a travel date after Monday 30 June
- Reach out to BCC with any questions
- Consider practicing new travel routes over the holidays to familiarise students with any changes.
