Queensland Catholic Colleges Music Festival (QCMF) | 14 – 17 Aug
The Queensland Catholic Schools and Colleges Music Festival (QCMF) is the premier event on the Queensland’s Catholic Schools and Colleges annual music calendar. St Laurence’s has participated in the festival for many years, and it is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for our musicians to share their love of music with over 14,000 Catholic school students from around Queensland.
A copy of the SLC performance schedule is available on the Lauries App. Please check times carefully to ensure students arrive at the correct location on time.
Term 3 Dates:
- Intermediate Music Camp | 2 & 3 August, ERPAC

Music Communications
The Music Department will use the College App as our main point of contact with families. Information for the events above will be posted under the relevant groups once information is confirmed.
Please take a couple of minutes to update your subscriptions to ensure you receive the relevant notifications for each ensemble.
For Year 5 parents, please ensure you are also subscribed to the ‘Year 5 Music Program’ section under ‘Music’ so you don’t miss any updates on the program.
LMSG Meeting | Term 3 - Tuesday 12 August | 6pm
Our next Lauries Music Support Group Meeting will be held on Tuesday 12 August in MU1 (Top floor VAPA building). A great way to support your son at SLC is by joining the parent’s music support group. Meetings are once a month on the second Tuesday of each month (term time).
