Lauries on the Lawn 2026

St Laurence's College is proud to introduce Lauries on the Lawn!

Join us on Saturday 5 September for the exciting launch of our inaugural event, taking place on the beautifully refurbished Crawford Oval at Runcorn. Replacing the Lauries Sunset Soiree, enjoy an afternoon in the sun with friends filled with fun, laughter and memories - all in support of the St Laurence’s Old Boys Foundation, St Laurence’s College Building Fund and Lauries Community Committee.

Event Details:

  • Date: Saturday 5 September 2026
  • Time: 1pm - 5pm
  • Location: Crawford Oval (Field 1), Runcorn Sporting Fields
  • Ticket Price: $55 per ticket including polycarbonate Lauries stemless cup (Early Bird Price). From Thursday 23 July, tickets are $60 each.
     

Ticket Sale Details:

Tickets go on sale on midday, Wednesday 17 June. A ticketing link will be provided closer to the date.

 

Important Notes:

  • Food and drinks should be ordered at time of ticket purchase to secure the best possible price. Review the food and drinks options available HERE.
  • A limited drinks and snack menu will be available on the day with prices and options to be shared with ticket bookers prior to the function.
  • Bus transfers to the city following the event will be available with seats strictly limited.

Q: I’m new to the school—will I fit in?

A: Absolutely! College events are a great way to meet other parents. Let us know your son’s year level when booking, and we’ll do our best to seat you with similar families.

Q: Are seats allocated?

A: Yes, seating is at tables of ten. You can nominate a table captain or year level when booking.

Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?

A: No, tickets must be purchased in advance, by the closing date of Friday 14 August.

Q: Can I bring my own food or drinks?

A: No BYO alcohol as this is a fully licenced event however you can bring your own food should you wish.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Smart casual plus bring a hat plus flat shoes are advisable!

Q: Will there be photos?

A: Yes! Professional photographers will capture the day, and you’re welcome to take your own photos too.

Q: How will it work on the day?

A: On arrival, guests will be directed to a dedicated Box Office where they will be provided with their wristbands for entry, drinks and food vouchers plus their complimentary Lauries stemless cup. Guests can then collect their food or drinks from the appropriate areas at their discretion. 

Q: What does my ticket include?

A: Tickets include entry into the event, allocated seating, live entertainment, a great afternoon with fellow Lauries community members plus a complimentary polycarbonate Lauries stemless cup. 

Q: How do I get there?

A: There will be a dedicated pick up and drop off area accessible via Nathan Road. On-site parking will also be available for your designated driver. Alternatively, the Sporting Fields are located adjacent to Runcorn Train Station. 

Q: What transport is available after the event?

A: The College will provide bus transfers to the City on a first-in-best-dressed basis, as seats will be strictly limited. Guests may also wish to take the train into the City, departing from Runcorn Station at 5.16pm.
