Welcome to the 2026 Lauries Sports Lunch!
Join us on Friday 5 June 2026 at The Greek Club for one of the most anticipated events on the Lauries calendar!
This year’s Sports Lunch will celebrate the proud tradition of Lauries sport and feature special guest speakers from the world of Australian sport alongside our MC, Pat Welsh.
This event is not only a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow Lauries families and friends but also plays a vital role in supporting sport and student athletic development at the College.

Q: Will tickets sell out?
A: Yes, tickets are limited and sell out quickly. Set a reminder for the release date!
Q: I’m new to the school—will I fit in?
A: Absolutely! The Sports Lunch is a great way to meet other parents, especially if you have a sporting interest. Let us know your son’s year level or sporting code when booking, and we’ll do our best to seat you with similar families.
Q: Are seats allocated?
A: Yes, seating is at tables of ten. You can nominate a table captain or year level when booking.
Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?
A: No, tickets must be purchased in advance.
Q: Can I bring my own food or drinks?
A: No, this is a fully catered event with entrees, mains, and beverages supplied. Spirits and alternative drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
Q: What time does everything happen?
A: The event starts at 12pm. Entrée will be served by 12.30pm, followed by our first speaker.
Q: Is there somewhere to meet before and after?
A: Yes! Guests can enjoy a drink in the Greek Club bar downstairs before the event and mingle at the outside bar afterwards.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Smart casual.
Q: Will there be photos?
A: Yes! Professional photographers will capture the day, and you’re welcome to take your own photos too.
