Lauries Walkathon 2026
The Countdown to Walkathon 2026 starts now!
On Friday 7 August 2026, students will take on a 14km walk through the Brisbane CBD, all in support of our major and House charities.
Walkathon has been a Lauries tradition since 1969 and has since raised over $1 million dollars for charity. In 2026, St Laurence’s College will be supporting Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland and the MND and Me Foundation as well as our Faith in Action and House charities.
To encourage fundraising, students will be entered into a prize draw - one ticket for every $50 raised. The more they raise, the more chances they have to win some incredible prizes!

How to Donate
Primary School
On Tuesday 16 June, students and families will receive an email with their son/s bespoke URL link and QR code to donate.
Primary School students may also contribute cash using the envelopes distributed in the week commencing Monday 15 June. These envelopes will also contain bespoke QR codes to their own donation portal.
Please ensure all cash donations are returned on the day of Walkathon - Friday 7 August.
Middle and Senior School
On Tuesday 16 June, students and families will receive an email with their son/s bespoke URL link and QR Code to donate.
- Please note that parents with more than one son at the College will receive one email with multiple links
Middle and Senior School students are encouraged to use the information shared with them electronically in their fundraising. No print collateral will be provided.
Wider Community
If you're a member of the wider community and interested in supporting our fundraising efforts, but don't have a student connection at the College, we have a general donation link for you to access.
Please note, any donations made through this link cannot be attributed to individual student fundraising totals.
