Future Lauries: Building Belonging Across Generations
Since 1915, St Laurence’s College has been shaped by generations of young men whose connection to Lauries extends well beyond their time in the classroom. Today, many of those Old Boys are now fathers, proudly considering the same educational journey for their own sons.
To celebrate that unique connection, the College continues its Future Lauries Initiative—a special program designed for Old Boys who have submitted an Expression of Interest for a son aged 0–5 years.
As part of the initiative, eligible families receive a complimentary Future Lauries package featuring:
- Future Lauries Parent socks for Dad
- Future Lauries Student socks for his son
More than just a pair of socks, the initiative celebrates a shared connection between generations.
For Old Boys, the socks recognise a journey that began years ago and now enters a new chapter as a future Lauries parent. For their sons, the socks represent the beginning of a journey uniquely their own—one that may one day see them walk through the gates of St Laurence’s College and create their own memories, friendships and experiences.
Since launching in 2025, more than 150 pairs of socks have been shared with over 130 Old Boy families, with many proudly sending through photos of fathers and sons wearing their socks together. These images have become a wonderful reminder of the strong sense of belonging that continues to connect generations of Lauries families.
The initiative also encourages Old Boys to register their son’s Expression of Interest early, allowing the College to stay connected with families and ensure they receive information about future enrolment opportunities as their sons grow.

How to Receive Your Future Lauries Socks
If you are an Old Boy and have a son aged between 0 and 5 years, simply submit an Expression of Interest HERE for your son and ensure your details are recorded under School Connections – Son of an Old Boy.
Once received, the College will arrange for your complimentary Future Lauries socks package to be sent to your family.
