AIC Trimester 1 Sports Assembly

On Wednesday, The College hosted its Trimester 1 Sports Assembly, where over 150 boys were recognised for their achievements in Cricket, Volleyball, AFL, and Swimming. The assembly acknowledged teams that had achieved premierships or "undefeated" seasons, as well as the four "First" teams in each sport. One of the highlights of the day was the presentation of the AFL Premiership and the AFL Aggregate Shield to the First XVIII. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff, Old Boys, and parents who made Trimester 1 sport possible.

Winter Uniform at Sport

A reminder to all families that students should be attending their games on a Saturday in correct sports uniform for that sport. A significant issue occurs during winter with boys tending to arrive in incorrect jumpers due to the cold weather. It is an expectation that students were College jumpers or tracksuits to fixtures on a Saturday.

AIC Round 1

This upcoming weekend, we will be playing against Iona in Round 1 of the AIC Competition. The Senior Teams for Rugby Union and Football will be hosted at Runcorn, while the Junior Teams will be playing away at Iona. This is expected to be a big event and all Lauries teams are feeling confident after trialling well against Marist on the weekend. Our Chess teams will kick off Round 1 on Friday night at the College.

We wish all teams the best of luck for the commencement of AIC Trimester 2 Sport this weekend.
