Lauries Learning Hub - HPE
As part of the Year 12 Sport and Recreation Program, our senior students collaborated with over 80 primary school students to run a touch football-specific coaching session. The primary students were brimming with excitement, making the event even more memorable.
The senior students were tasked with developing activities that focused on improving a specific skill within touch football using a game-based approach. Their dedication and creativity were evident in the well-structured and engaging activities they provided.
I would like to commend the senior students on their outstanding efforts in organising and leading these sessions. Their ability to create a fun and educational environment was truly impressive. Additionally, I extend my gratitude to the primary boys for their enthusiasm and active participation throughout the session. Their energy and eagerness to learn greatly contributed to its success.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience for both groups of boys, fostering not only skills in touch football but also a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect.
