Round 6 Update – Games Vs Marist College Ashgrove

Last weekend was a big day at Marist, with MCA hosting all Chess, Rugby, and most Football games. The competition started on Friday night, with our Chess teams performing strongly and sharing the night with Marist.

On Saturday, the Football and Rugby competition was fierce, with all games (particularly the aggregate) coming down to the wire. In Rugby, the First XV had a tough game and unfortunately lost their first game in many years to a Marist team that played very well. In Football, some of our teams wrapped up their Premierships with good wins, but the First XI also lost in a very close game.

This weekend, the college is hosting Padua College in all Rugby, Chess, and Senior Football games. Numerous Premierships are up for grabs, as well as the prestigious Football Aggregate Shield. We wish all players and coaches the best of luck in what is the final round for Term 2 AIC Sport.

Term 3 Sport

A reminder that training and trials for Term 3 sport have already begun/will begin next week. It is not too late to sign up, so if you are interested in participating in Rugby League, Tennis, Basketball, or Track and Field, please contact the Sports Office.
