For the latest information, we recommend visiting our Careers Platform. There, you can access up to date resume and cover letter templates, gain insights into work experience opportunities in 2024, explore presentation slides used in information sessions for both students and parents, make a tax file number application and explore university study options while still in school.
Tertiary Scholarships Evening
Year 12 students who are considering tertiary study in 2025 are encouraged to attend our Tertiary Scholarships Evening in early term 3. Presentations will be given by ACU, Bond University, Griffith University, QUT, UQ and USC, followed by an expo format for students and parents to speak with representatives from individual institutions.

University Open Days and Career Expos
Over the coming months, universities will be holding their open days for any future students interested in tertiary study after year 12. This is a great opportunity to experience the campus, talk to current students about their experiences and engage with faculty members in different study areas.

TAFE at School Workshops
TAFE Qld are excited to offer students a great school holiday experience.
TAFE at School is hosting its annual series of workshops to give high school students a taste of what TAFE Queensland has to offer. Information on specific workshops and how to apply can be found on the School Holiday Program 2024
Spaces are limited. Ticket sales close 11.30pm on Sunday 16 June 2024, unless sold out.

If you are interested in the Australian Defence Force, it's a good idea to attend one of the information sessions and consider a work experience placement. UQ Skills
Discover what it’s like to study a vocational certificate or diploma with UQ Skills at their Gatton campus. On 21 June, UQ Skills are hosting a fun day of hands-on, interactive workshops where you can meet their trainers and learn about everything UQ Skills has to offer including:
- Vocational training including apprenticeships and traineeships in:

- allied health
- animal studies
- entrepreneurship
- maritime (boating).
