Congratulations to our Junior Ensembles; Concert Band 3, Big Band 3, String Orchestra 3 & Treblehood along with our Year 5 Ensembles; Concert Band, String Orchestra, Guitar Ensemble, Choir & Vocal ensemble who performed at the Junior Ensembles Concert.

It was a joy to hear our younger musicians take the stage, proudly showcasing their Semester 1 progress. For many of our Year 5 students, this was their debut performance, and they are to be especially commended for their courage, preparation, and enthusiasm.

Combine Schools Guitar Workshop & Concert | St Rita’s College

Members of Guitar Orchestra 1 recently joined students from the St Rita’s College for a workshop and concert. This was also a wonderful opportunity for our senior guitarists to collaborate with professional musicians from Bronos Kentet which included our own Mr Chris Phengrasmy. Special thanks to all those who were involved.

Combined Schools Workshop | St Joseph’s Primary

Last week, members of Concert Band 3 and Guitar Orchestra 2 collaborated with students from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School for a combined workshop and concert. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect, rehearse, and perform together, building both musical skills and community spirit.

Sing a New Song: How We Might Name God into the Future with Maeve Heaney

The Big Brotherhood recently took part in a combined schools’ choir for Sing a New Song: How We Might Name God into the Future—a special event featuring internationally renowned theologian Maeve Heaney. Held on Thursday 29 May, this significant Archdiocesan occasion was livestreamed and professionally recorded in both audio and video formats. We are proud of our students for representing the College at such a meaningful and high-profile event.
