Important Traffic and Transport Updates
Track Closures - 20 September to 12 October
From Saturday 20 September to Sunday 12 October, there will be major track closures and travel changes on the Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines. Please click here for more detailed information.
This track closure will be ongoing during the first week of Term 4. To assist staff and students who would usually catch the train to/from school, please see the attached flyer for your distribution as appropriate.
If you travel on the Beenleigh or Gold Coast lines, some journeys may take significantly longer than usual. Your best travel option may change over the 23-day period. There will be plenty of buses available, including express and all stops railbuses and regular bus services.

Public Assembly in the South Brisbane Area - Saturday 20 September
South Bank Corporation has been notified of two public assemblies taking place from 10.00am Saturday 18 September across the city and South Brisbane areas.
These assemblies are expected to move through South Bank after 10.00am in the following locations:
- Victoria Bridge
- Grey Street
- Glenelg Street
- Clem Jones Promenade
- Goodwill Bridge.
Traffic and associated crowd management will be undertaken by Queensland Police Service.
