From the Music Department
The Music Department warmly invites you to our annual Jazz on the Hill Concert on Friday, 10 October, starting at 5.30pm and concluding around 9.00pm.
This event will showcase SLC Big Bands 1, 2, 3, and the Centenary State High School Stage Band. We are also excited to announce that this year's special guest is the Griffith University Young Conservatorium Big Band.
Event Details:
- Gates open: 4.45pm
- LMSG BBQ and Bar open: 5.00 pm
- Pre-concert entertainment: Begins at 4.45pm with Steamboat
- What to bring: Your own picnic blanket and/or chairs. A warm jacket is recommended as it can get chilly on Gair Field in the evening.
- Food and drinks: Available for purchase throughout the night. Please note there is no glass permitted on the field.

Volunteer Opportunity: LMSG BBQ and Bar
The Lauries Music Support Group will be hosting their usual pre-concert BBQ and Bar and are looking for volunteers to assist. No experience is needed!
