Transport Update | Reduced Train Timetable
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
From Tuesday 5 May, trains will run on a reduced timetable due to union protected industrial action. These arrangements will be in place until further notice.
Summary of Changes
- From Tuesday 5 May, weekday train services will run on a modified timetable, similar to a Saturday service.
- Additional services will run during morning and afternoon peak periods to support weekday travel.
- The journey planner is currently being updated with the latest timetable information.
What This Means For Students and Staff
- Trains will run less frequently and to a different timetable than usual.
- Best travel options may change, so you should plan your journey before travelling.
- Please allow extra travel time, and consider catching an earlier or later service, if possible.
- To plan your journey, download the Translink app or visit translink.com.au.
Translink will continue to update their website as information becomes available.
