Year 9 Mother & Son Evening
Last Friday evening, the Year 9 Mother & Son Evening provided a wonderful opportunity for mothers and sons to spend quality time together in a relaxed and engaging environment. Throughout the evening, families participated in a range of fun activities including trivia, conversation starters, rugby ball throwing challenges, and paired art constructions, creating plenty of laughter and memorable moments.
A sincere thank you must go to the Humanities Department for generously providing food and drinks for all attending mothers, and to the student volunteers who assisted with setting up and running the activities with such positivity and enthusiasm. Thank you also to Will Pike, Jane Fawcett and the Facilities staff for their preparation and organisation of the evening. Special appreciation is extended to Michelle Guerrero and Ben Lowrie for warmly welcoming families and helping create such an inviting atmosphere.
Finally, a very special thank you to Lisa Magee, whose dedication throughout the entire evening was exceptional. Mrs Magee worked tirelessly to organise and support the boys in setting up and running the activities, while also capturing photographs from the evening. Without her efforts and generosity, the night would not have been such a success.
