Voice Recital
Last Monday we held Semester 1’s Voice Recital in ERPAC, coordinated by our Voice teacher, Ms Ireni Utley. The event featured 35 students from Years 5 to 12, creating a diverse showcase of students with varying levels of experience. The recital included a range of songs that highlighted different vocal styles and abilities, allowing the audience to hear how voices develop across age groups.
It was invigorating to see the confidence and preparation shown by the students on stage as they displayed the effort they had put into rehearsing their pieces. The recital was a successful event that provided valuable performance experience for the students. Thank you to all the guests who attended and supported our students. We will see you again in Semester 2!
Cabaret Concert
As we approach Week 6, we are looking forward to our highly anticipated Cabaret Concert! This year the concert will be held on Friday 29 May from 6.30pm in ERPAC. Please note there is no food service provided at the concert – bar only.
The theme for the Cabaret Concert is ‘Aussie Aussie Aussie’, as we come together to celebrate Australian culture through music and reflect on what it means to be Australian. Students and guests are welcome to attend in an appropriate costume which captures our theme. We are looking forward to seeing you all there and can’t wait to see the costumes!
St Joseph’s Workshop
On Wednesday 10 June, we will be hosting the Combined Schools Junior Music Workshop, joined with St Joseph’s College. This year’s concert will include String Orchestra 3 and Guitar Orchestra 2 in ERPAC.
This is a wonderful performance opportunity for our students to further their music experiences and collaborate with other young musicians. We would love to see our parents at the concert to support them! More information will be sent in the near future.
