For those that have registered for work experience in June, you will be notified by the Careers office when a placement has been confirmed. Please be patient as the team works to find placements for all students.

If you are interested in the Australian Defence Force, it's a good idea to attend one of the information sessions and consider a work experience placement. Bond University Updates
Year 12 2027 Early Offers
Bond University will support students by assessing applications based on their first semester Year 12 results and your Year 11 semester reports. How it works:
- Complete Bond’s direct online application, submitting results from your Semester 1 Year 12 report, as well as your Semester 1 and 2 Year 11 reports.
- Bond University will assess your application and high school grades against the minimum entry requirements for Bond's undergraduate and diploma programs.
- If you meet the entry requirements, you receive an early offer that guarantees entry to Bond conditional on the completion of Year 12 and meeting any subject prerequisite requirements for your program.
- When you successfully complete Year 12 and pass any prerequisite subjects, your offer becomes unconditional and you are officially a Bondy!

Economics School Day
The UQ Economics Schools Day gives high school students the opportunity to:

Engineering, Design and Computing Careers Evening
Years 9–12 students are invited to UQ's careers expo, where they’ll have the chance to connect directly with industry professionals on Thursday 25 June from 5 - 7.30pm. What to expect:
- Gain valuable insights from recent graduates and industry professionals as they share their experiences.
- Engage with academic staff and current students to learn about the study options available at UQ.
- Have the opportunity to ask questions to actual engineers, designers, and computing innovators about the various job opportunities in industry.
- Discover why UQ offers the ideal foundation for careers in engineering, architecture and design, planning, computer science, and information technology.

DO NOT apply to QTAC for 2027 entry into tertiary courses yet! QTAC is currently taking Semester 2, 2026 applications NOT 2027. If you apply before the 2027 opening date on 4 August, your application will not be considered!
