Mini Vinnies

Mini Vinnies News

Service Learning in the Primary School has kicked off with a bang! Mr O’Toole was so excited for this year’s Show Your True Colours day that we had it three weeks earlier than normal, to coincide with the NRL Las Vegas round. Thank you to all the students and staff who got involved by wearing their favourite team jersey and joined in this great community initiative. Altogether, we as a school community raised $576.00! 6 Black & Gold raised the most money for the event and most boys in the Primary School got involved, which was a terrific start to the year!

All funds will go towards Caritas, an excellent charity with terrific sustainable initiatives that are conducted across the world. For more information about who they are, please go to: Who we are - Caritas

Last week, we also introduced to the Primary School our 2026 Mini Vinnies team. With over 50 applicants, Mini Vinnies has become a sought-after leadership role and these students have a lot of work ahead of them. Their energy and enthusiasm is already noticeable, with some students designing advertising posters for our Show Your True Colours day, teaching the other students about Caritas at our Primary Assembly and meeting up to discuss ideas for the year ahead.

The Mini Vinnies team this year is: Raymond Chen, Hugo Connolly, Archie Croasdale, Archer Rawson, Sean Paniora, Tom Kelly, Harrison Duce, Jack Doble, Joseph Hodgetts, Oliver Robertson, Lucas Hodge, Yohan Sriniasan, Liam Hackwood, Oliver Josey, Ben Power, Ollie Dell, George Hogg, Aiden Chau, Kernel Rugamba.

Kind Regards,

Kate Flanagan
