Primary Studies: Jock Scahill
It is a busy time here in St Laurence’s Primary. Year 5 have been working hard through their NAPLAN testing at the moment. The boys have done really well in completing all their tests. The writing stimulus this year was a narrative on the idea of “The Rock.” A challenging stimulus, but the boys pushed through to create some incredible narratives.
Year 6 have been busy with multiple learning experiences outside of the classroom. Just gone, the boys ventured to the Synagogue to extend their current Religion unit on Judaism. Soon, they will cross the bridge again into the city to visit Parliament House to launch their latest HASS unit.
It's always a busy time here in Lauries primary, but our boys are doing an incredible job in all aspects of their learning.
