Primary Library Highlights – End of Year

This year has been the best year for primary borrowing in a long time, and it’s clear we’re building some truly amazing readers! Our shelves have been buzzing with activity, with students diving into a wide range of titles. The most popular choices included books by Tristan Bancks and Matt Greenwood, the I Survived graphic novels, the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, The Simpsons comics, Pokémon adventures, and inspiring sports biographies.

We also launched our new primary book club, Lauries Literature Legends, which has quickly become a hit. The club will continue next year, and it’s been fantastic to see students engaging in lunchtime library activities—special mention to Jack Doble and Dominic Trkulja for their consistent enthusiasm.

And finally, a huge shout‑out to Blake P, Ethan F, Aiden C, and Harry W, who together borrowed more books than the entire Year 10 cohort! What an incredible achievement and a testament to the passion for reading in our primary school.

Here’s to another year of stories, imagination, and literary legends in the making!
