Celebrating the Class of 2025 – Academic and Vocational Excellence

St Laurence’s College proudly acknowledges the outstanding achievements of the Class of 2025 across both academic and vocational pathways.

This year’s cohort demonstrated resilience, commitment and a passion for learning, resulting in exceptional outcomes:

  • 1 student achieved an ATAR of 99 or above
  • 34 students achieved an ATAR of 95 or above
  • 65 students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above
  • 100% of students attained a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)
  • 54 Early University Offers
  • 12 students achieved A's across six of their general subjects, earning a QCE Certificate of Academic Commendation with a total of 26 students achieving 5 A's or better in their subjects.

The College continues to deliver a holistic education, offering diverse pathways to suit every learner. In 2025, completion rates across vocational subjects remained strong, reflecting the breadth of opportunities available to our Lauries Gentlemen.

College Principal, Mr Ben Lowrie, congratulated the cohort on their remarkable efforts:

“The strength of the 2025 ATAR results is a testament to the dedication and perseverance of our Year 12 students. I commend them for their achievements and acknowledge the entire cohort for attaining a 100% QCE rate and completing over 426 Certificate and Diploma qualifications this year.”

Dean of Learning and Teaching, Ms Grace Loyden, highlighted the importance of personal excellence:

“Personal excellence is the foundation of success. By committing to their studies, the Class of 2025 has opened doors to limitless opportunities and a bright future.”

Mr Lowrie added:

“Congratulations to our award recipients for their exceptional academic performance. I also thank our dedicated staff for guiding every student to achieve their personal best.”

Perfect Scores

Three students achieved 100% in their subjects:

  • Anlin Tso (English as an Additional Language)
  • Jack Rea (Literature)
  • Simeon Jeremijenko: Music Extension (Performance)

26 students also achieved 5 A’s or better across their respective subjects.

Vocational Education & Training (VET) Success

The VET Program continues to thrive, with many students pursuing Certificate courses as part of their career pathways:

  • Certificate I: 31 students
  • Certificate II: 258 students     
  • Certificate III: 89 students
  • Certificate IV: 16 students
  • Diplomas: 32 students
