There, you can access up to date resume and cover letter templates, gain insights into work experience opportunities in 2024, explore presentation slides used in information sessions for both students and parents, make a tax file number application and explore university study options while still in school.
UCAT ANZ applications closing date reminder
Candidates taking the UCAT ANZ in 2024 for entry to some health related courses in Australia and New Zealand universities in 2025 should note these key dates. Deadline times are 11.59pm AEST - Australian Eastern Standard Time. A reminder that the closing date to apply to sit for UCAT is 17 May 2024.
Aussie Athletes Agency – Information evening
St Laurence's College together with Aussie Athletes Agency are providing a valuable information session for Year 9 - 12 students and families, regarding opportunities in US college sports. The information provided can help individuals make informed decisions by offering guidance on scholarships, training programs, and career paths and ensuring students and families are able to navigate the complex sports landscape of US College sport and study. They ensure that aspiring athletes can make informed choices, enhancing their chances of securing opportunities and succeeding in their sporting and academic pursuits.
SLC students in year 9 - 12 and their parents/caregivers are invited to attend.
Information Session will take place from 5.00pm - 6:30pm on Tuesday 7 May 2024 in McElligott Theatre.

SLConX
Digital Media and Business/Finance/Law
The SLConX networking event focusing on careers in Digital Media and Business/Finance/Law will be taking place from 5:00pm - 6:30pm on Tuesday 28 May 2024 on Level 5 of ERPAC.
SLC students in Year 9 - 12 and their parents/caregivers are invited to hear from alumni who have established careers in various Digital Media and Business/Finance/Law industries.

START QUT
Applications for the Semester 2 intake of START QUT are open until 31 May 2024. Students currently in Grade 11 who are interested in completing a university subject whilst still at high school are welcome to apply for this program (the range of course offerings and entry requirements are available on the QUT website, using the above link). Gap Year – Holiday Camps
Camp America
Camp America organises summer (May, June, July) camp jobs in the USA for students from around the world. At camp, you will work directly with American children by instructing or assisting them in activities. There are different types of camps and roles available. The visa required for the program includes 30 days of travel time in the USA before and after the camp. Visit the Camp America website for more information.
Projects Abroad
Projects Abroad is a volunteer abroad organisation.
