Primary Assembly Highlights

At our final Primary Assembly for the year, we celebrated an incredible range of achievements across our community. These included:

  • Academic Excellence – students who achieved outstanding results in the ICAS assessments
  • Reading Champions – those who borrowed the most books in their class and across the primary school
  • Writing Growth – students recognised as the most improved writers through their use of Writer’s Toolbox

Celebrating Writing Success

With the support of class teachers, Mrs Kath Perotin, and the Writer’s Toolbox program, our students have made remarkable progress in their writing. During my classroom visits, I’ve seen firsthand the impact teachers have had on your son’s writing development. Many boys have shared how much they enjoy using Writer’s Toolbox and how it has helped them grow as writers.

The confidence they now demonstrate—using a variety of sentence types, elevated vocabulary, and showing a deeper understanding of their craft—has been incredible.

A special thank you to Mrs Kath Perotin, who has led the Writer’s Toolbox initiative and worked closely with both students and teachers to embed this program successfully.
